Describe the entire incident with Elie and the dentist. Do you feel that this situation was commonplace among the prisoners, or were the circumstances surrounding Elie different from the others. Explain fully with evidence from the text. You can include evidence from other related books or movies to develop a thorough response.
I really feel like it was unfair to the dentist. Because he didn't do anything that was major it was just a minor incident. Unfortunately, the germans are so high-maintenance though, that was unlucky for the dentsit. They ended up hanging him because he didn't turn in the right gold crowns. I could see why they get mad but not enough to hang the poor guy. that is just my opinion though.
ReplyDeleteHe went to the dentist to have his tooth filling removed but when he got to the dentist Elie pretended to be sick so that he wouldn’t have to get his tooth removed. Then the dentist told him to come back when he felt better. Elie went back later but he then again pretended to be sick. When he came back again he found out the dentist had been arrested and Elie got his filling. - Matthew Eis
